As you navigate a world torn apart by plague and oppressed by a government armed with strange new technologies, the truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city.
The choices you make will determine the fate of the world, but no matter what happens your old life is gone forever.
Dishonored sparked a very unique interest in me, you play as a assassin taking revenge on the people who framed you, it's kinda like Bioshock meets Assassin's creed. The controls and the art style seem very Bioshock-esque, while the diversity in path is very much like Assassin's creed.
There are many ways to tackle each mission for instance in the demo there is over 6 ways just to enter the mansion. Then past that you can try and make the assassination look like a accident or well a assassination or just go in guns blazing and try to kill everything.
Dishonored does not have a open world, and quite honestly I can't see a whole lot of room for replayability, maybe once through playing stealth and once through playing aggressively. With the 60$ price tag on top of that I can't really see it being worth that much.
But I definitely think it is worth playing, perhaps rent it and play it through. ^^ Shouldn't be to long of a game so should be able to beat it in a day or two I imagine.
Dishonored has a wide range of weaponry, tools, spells at your disposal, you can also upgrade your equipment for further customization. There is plenty of ways to play and equipment to get to fit your playstyle, whether you want to summon plagues of rats, teleport around, or just stab people with a dagger it's all there for you. ^^
